CHL Latina Advancement Specialist, Dr. Placida Gallegos to share 30+ years of research and her unique perspectives to help Latinas redefine success and achieve their cultural promise.
The Center for Hispanic Leadership has launched its Latina Expert blog to guide the advancement of Latinas in the workplace. LatinaExpert.com will serve as a discussion platform that will encourage dialogue and story-telling to help the broader Latina community consider together the key assets they bring and obstacles that they face in America’s corporations. CHL Latina Advancement Specialist, Dr. Placida Gallegos will share 30+ years of research and her unique perspectives to help Latinas redefine success and achieve their cultural promise. According to Dr. Gallegos, “We are thrilled to launch such a relevant discussion platform for Latina leaders. During a time where Latinas are striving to create influential inroads in corporate America, they are becoming more passionate and deliberate about advancing themselves.”
LatinaExpert.com will be a place where Latinas share their experiences and give voice to the dilemmas they manage as they take charge of their careers and continue to move into prominent leadership positions. According to CHL Director of Client Relationships Annette Prieto-Llopis, “LatinaExpert.com is an important initiative and serves as an extension of the Center for Hispanic Leadership mission. As the demands for our services increase, it is the Latina voice that is making the most difference. Latinas strongly believe in their culture promise and we want to accelerate their abilities and help them make their leadership voices more prominent in the workplace. “
Dr. Gallegos will initiate and facilitate provocative conversations for and about Latina leaders. “Our goal at CHL is to use this platform to unite, empower and expand Latina influence in America, says Gallegos. My responsibility will be to carefully listen and provide these powerful Latina voices a roadmap for success. I have worked my entire career making a difference in the lives of Latinas. Our time for advancement is now,” concludes Gallegos.
