TEDxWashingtonHeights — VIDEOS

TEDxWashingtonHeights, was a premiere event sponsored by Telemundo, Hennessy, HispanicAd and NGLC that took place on October 24, 2011 at The Hispanic Society of America in NYC.  In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.   Four dynamic Latino thought leaders combined with TEDTalks videos were featured throughout the event that was intended spark deep discussion and connection among those who attended.

Similar to TED, an organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading, each of the following TEDxWashingtonHeights speakers was asked to give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes.

Known for featuring the world’s leading thinkers and doers, TED speakers have included the likes of Bill Gates, Jane Goodall, Elizabeth Gilbert, Sir Richard Branson, Benoit Mandelbrot, Philippe Starck, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Isabel Allende and former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
